These teenagers are facing serious charges after the fire they started killed more than a dozen people.
In Tennessee, a wildfire has ruthlessly blown through the state and has caused immeasurable damage to the land. There's been so much damage that over 100 people have been injured and 14 have died!
The fire has forced thousands of people out of their homes and has caused an estimated damage of several million dollars. The most shocking part of this story is that there's a good chance that the fire was man-made!
In fact, authorities are reporting that two teenagers may be to blame. According to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and a few other agencies, they've come to the conclusion that the fire was an intentional act.
An updated article from the state's Time Free Press publication says that two teens have been arrested for starting the fire in late November. The two teens, whose identities haven't been revealed due to their age, are currently spending time in a juvenile detention center.
What's intimidating for these two juveniles is that since the damage is so severe and the cost is rising every day for the damage, they may face these charges as ADULTS! Our parents tell us not to play with fire and incidents like these are exactly why!
