Sometimes young people can do some extra-ordinary things.
Mark Jones is a 34-year-old diabetic man. He was watching a show called CBeebies with his 3 year old son Lenny-George and his wife needed to run to her mom's house for a minute. But when she left, potential tragedy struck.
As Jones lay there, his son figured out what was going on and what he needed to do. He dragged a chair, got up to the fridge and tugged it open and got 2 cups of yogurt from there. When he couldnât reach the proper utensil drawer, Lenny-George rushed over to his play kitchen for a plastic knife, which he then used to feed his father the two yogurts, bite by bite.
By force-feeding his dad two Muller yogurts he made sure his dad regained his senses.
He was able to get well and get his insulin. When his mom, Emma, came home... Lenny yelled "I saved, Daddy"
The amazing part is that Lenny-George, who his mother describes as conscientious and kind, had never been told what to do in the situation that his dad collapsed. No one had ever explained to him what it meant for Jones to have diabetes. âLenny must have seen [Jones] unwell in the past and watched me go to the fridge to get him food,â Emma speculated
[Lenny] does have a mischievous side, a typical little boy running around at 100mph and never listening to his mum which is why itâs so much more amazing what heâs done!â Emma laughed. It's amazing to see a kid come to the rescue of his sick Dad. He even dragged him to the couch before his mom came back... Kids can truly tell what is going on.
